My record collection doesn't include that many Finnish bands (except 22 Pistepirkko) altough I know there have been great improvement in Finnish music during the 90's. Prudence might be one of the names for the next century. With their aggressive and mind-catching melodies I see no real reason why not. Prudence is based in Helsinki, Finland.

Just beautiful and excellent. Prudence goes straight through the roof. For once both muscle and brain are successfully entwined in the same package. The Prudence intellects know how to rage and how to relax. Their songs "Firefly" and "You Are My Universe" were some of the best demo material for a long time. Some of the credit goes to their studio. The high quality work done in the MD Studio in Munkkiniemi guarantees that all their arrangement ideas are conveyed to the listeners. |

Emotional angst and the warmth emitting from their music comes from successfully crossing "The Beatles" and "Sonic Youth". Hard work has given them the self-confidence they needed and now we find them ripe for a major record company to pick them up. The band have already revealed the ending of their future interview:"If Prudence was a building, it would be an apocalyptic synagogue surrounded by a chaotic hell". |
